Event Overview
The 15th Annual Harvest Moon Run takes place in Historic Route 66 State Park on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
Race Details
- Start Time: 7:00 pm - Runners and walkers alike will enjoy the paved flat course through Route 66 State Park for this glowing night event. Pathlighters will be aglow at every turn lighting your steps as you zip by on your way to the moonlit finish line.
- Participation Perks: 5k participants receive a long-sleeve t-shirt and an Energizer headlight to light their path!
- Awards: A custom Harvest Moon Run medal is given to the Overall male and female winners and 1st Place medalists in nine age brackets.
- Kids Fun Run: 6:25 pm - FREE Kids Fun Run for ages 10 & under.
Pre-Race Events
- Energizing Arrival: 6:15 pm - Fred Bird arrives to energize the Moonie crowd!
Charitable Cause
Proceeds from our 5K night event benefit our Hunger Mission for: the Agape House-Pacific, Eureka Food Pantry, Feed My People-High Ridge, Peace Pantry-Cedar Hill, and the Eureka-Pacific Elks Lodge Backpack Food Program. Please bring canned & boxed food donations the night of the event to Fill the Ford with Food! The Harvest Moon Run is a 100% volunteer 501(c)3 charitable organization.
