About this race
Event Overview
It's the second annual 5k run/walk to support Grainger County Cancer Connect. The proceeds for this run will go to benefit those battling a cancer diagnosis within Grainger County.
Community Support
- Previous Participation: Last year the community showed up and showed out to support Grainger County Cancer Connect with over 220 registered walkers and runners.
- Goal: We are looking to surpass this amount and know our community does it best!
Event Details
- Open to All: This event is open to all ages and all runners and walkers.
- Kids Mile: We will have a kid's mile this year and encourage all kids to come out and get moving to support those battling a cancer diagnosis.
Impact of Cancer
- Age Group Impact: Cancer affects all age groups, and we are seeing this significantly rise in our community over the last few years.
- Join Us: Come be a part of a great cause and support those that are fighting this disease.
- Make Change: What a perfect way to make change happen in our small rural community.
