About this race
Event Overview
It's the second annual 5k run/walk to support Grainger County Cancer Connect. This event is open to all ages and all runners and walkers.
Purpose
- Support: Proceeds will benefit those battling a cancer diagnosis within Grainger County.
- Community Impact: Last year, the community showed up and showed out with over 220 registered walkers and runners.
- Encouragement: We are looking to surpass this amount and know our community does it best!
- Kid's Mile: We will have a kid's mile this year and encourage all kids to come out and get moving.
Community Need
Cancer affects all age groups, and we are seeing this significantly rise in our community over the last few years.
