11th Annual Walk|Run for Kids 2026

Event Overview

Proceeds from this event benefit seriously ill children and their families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of El Paso while their child receives medical care at an area hospital in El Paso or Las Cruces. Our champion programs improve the health, education, and well-being of children and their families.

Registration Information

• Registration Types: During the online registration process, you can register as an individual, start your own team and even join an existing team.
• Team Member Addition: Add Team Members at any time!
• Registration Deadline: Friday, October 2nd is the last day to register.
• Onsite Registration: There will be no onsite registration the day of the event.

Competition Announcement

Last year, the team from Wet n' Wild, "Freddy's Wild Sliders" won the TROPHY for the Largest Team Challenge. They recruited 130 members!! Will they have to pass the trophy down to a new team winner for 2026? Will it be you and your team?

Event and Packet Pick Up Information

• Swag Bag Pickup: Swag Bags can be picked up at Ronald McDonald House on Thursday, Oct 1st, and on Friday, Oct 2nd from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.
• Single Individual Pickup: Team bags can be picked up by one individual.
• Multiple Packet Pickup: If you are picking up five or more packets, please call ahead at (915) 542-1522 so we can have your packets ready before you arrive.
• Location: Ronald McDonald House is located at 300 E. California Avenue, El Paso, TX 79902, North of Downtown El Paso.

Age Group for Medals

Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place MALE AND FEMALE finishers in the following age groups:

• 12 and Under
• 13-17
• 18-24
• 25-29

Event Challenges

Win awesome prizes by participating in our challenges:

• Best Dressed Pet: Dress up your pet in their most unique costume and bring them along to walk or run during the event!
• Best Dressed Team: Get Creative! We love a good theme and can’t wait to see what your team comes up with.
• Largest Team: Last year, Wet n' Wild's team, "Freddy's Wild Sliders" won the trophy for the Largest Team Challenge!

• Early Bird Registration: Special Online Early Bird Registration EXTENDED through August 16, 2026.
• Regular Registration: Regular Online Registration starts August 17 - Sept 14, 2026.
• Late Registration: Late Online Registration is Sept 15, 2026 - Sept 30, 2026.
• Final Registration: LAST MINUTE ONLINE REGISTRATION IS OCT 1st & 2nd.
