About this race
Race Overview
Proceeds from this event benefit seriously ill children and their families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of El Paso while their child receives medical care at an area hospital in El Paso or Las Cruces. Our champion programs improve the health, education, and well-being of children and their families.
Registration Details
- Online Registration: During the online registration process, you can register as an individual, start your own team, and even join an existing team.
- Team Members: Add Team Members at any time!
- Registration Deadline: Friday, October 2nd is the last day to register.
- Note: There will be no onsite registration the day of the event.
Annual Challenge
Last year, the team from Wet n' Wild, "Freddy's Wild Sliders" won the TROPHY for the Largest Team Challenge. They recruited 130 members!! Will they have to pass the trophy down to a new team winner for 2026? Will it be you and your team?

T-Shirt & Swag Bag Pick Up Info:
- Pickup Dates: Swag Bags can be picked up at Ronald McDonald House on Thursday, Oct 1st, and on Friday, Oct 2nd from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.
- Team Bags: Team bags can be picked up by one individual.
- Group Pickup: If you are picking up five or more packets, please call ahead at (915) 542-1522.
- Location: Ronald McDonald House is located at 300 E. California Avenue, El Paso, TX 79902, North of Downtown El Paso.
Age Group for Medals
Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place MALE AND FEMALE finishers in the following age groups:
- 12 and Under
- 13-17
- 18-24
- 25-29
- 30-39
- 40-49
- 50-59
- 60-69
- 70+
Event Challenges
Win awesome prizes by participating in our challenges:
- Best Dressed Pet: Dress up your pet in their most unique costume and bring them along! Winners will be announced after the 1 Mile Walk.
- Best Dressed Team: Get Creative! Winners will be announced before the start of the 1 Mile Walk.
- Largest Team: Last year, the Wet n' Wild Team "Freddy's Wild Sliders" won the TROPHY for the Largest Team Challenge!
