Eagle in the Sun Triathlon

🏊‍♂️ Race Overview

El Paso's premier multisport event, Eagle in the Sun Triathlon has introduced thousands to their first triathlon. Now entering its 16th year, the race is a favorite for new and experienced athletes alike and welcomes relay teams in addition to individual competitors.

🚴‍♂️ Race Course

Eagle in the Sun Triathlon begins with a 400-meter swim in a 50-meter pool. Participants then ride on a mostly flat 12-mile out-and-back bike on the Border Highway and run 5K run on the Playa Drain Trail.

🎽 Participant Perks

• SWAG: First 600 participants guaranteed to receive a moisture-wicking race shirt, athlete bag, water bottle, and swim cap.
• POST-RACE: All participants will receive post-race snacks and drinks.
• EXPO: An interactive race day Expo with chip timing, and more!
• MEDALS: Finisher medals for all participants!

• PACKET PICKUP:
• FRIDAY, September 12th, 4pm - 7pm - Location El Paso Swim and Tennis Club (2510 N. Saint Vrain, EPTX 79902)
• SATURDAY, September 13th, 10am - 1pm - Location La Mente Behavioral Health (6600 Montana Ave #P, EPTX 79925). Every athlete must pick up his or her own race packet. Packet pick-up will require photo proof of identity (driver’s license, passport, etc.) and USAT Membership Card.
