• Registration: Eagle Kids Splash & Dash - Registration now open!
• Age Group: Designed for ages 6–13, this fast‑paced, confidence‑building race features a 100‑meter swim followed by a 1K run.
• Experience: It’s the perfect way for young athletes to challenge themselves, experience multisport racing, and feel the thrill of crossing the finish line under the lights.
• Focus: Whether they’re brand new to racing or already love being active, our Eagle Kids Splash and Dash is all about fun, safety, and celebrating every child’s effort.

EAGLE IN THE SUN TRIATHLON

• Overview: El Paso's premier multisport event, Eagle in the Sun Triathlon has introduced thousands to their first triathlon.
• 16th Year: Now entering its 16th year, the race is a favorite for new and experienced athletes alike and welcomes relay teams in addition to individual competitors.
• Course: Eagle in the Sun Triathlon begins with a 400-meter swim in a 50-meter pool. Participants then ride on a mostly flat 12-mile out-and-back bike on the Border Highway and run 5K run on the Playa Drain Trail.
• Participants' Perks: First 600 participants guaranteed to receive a moisture-wicking race shirt, athlete bag, water bottle and swim cap. All participants will receive post-race snacks and drinks, an interactive race day Expo, chip timing, and more! Finisher medals for all participants!

• Bike-Run: 12mi bike - 3mi run
• Run/Walk: 3mi run
• 3-Person Relay: Team event
• 2-Person Relay: Team event

RACE INFO:

• SWAG: Participants will receive a race shirt, water bottle, finisher medal, run bibs and bike numbers, an athlete bag and more!
• Packet Pickup:
  • Date: FRIDAY, September 18th, 4pm - 7pm - Location El Paso Swim and Tennis Club (2510 N. Saint Vrain, EPTX 79902)
  • Date: SATURDAY, September 19th, 10am - 1pm - Location to be announced.
  • Requirement: Every athlete must pick up his or her own race packet. Packet pick-up will require photo proof of identity (driver’s license, passport, etc.) and USAT Membership Card.
