- 2nd Annual Event: Come out for our 2nd annual Resler Trail Race & Family Walk.
- Community Engagement: The event aims to bring together runners, walkers, families, and nature lovers for a morning of fun and connection to the land.
- Environmental Education: The goal is to educate our community about the importance of preserving the land and show the beautiful trails.
- Trail Expansion: We invite you to join us on other adventures hosted throughout the year by The Frontera Land Alliance.
In Memory of Charlie Wakeem
- Legacy: This year, we remember Charlie Wakeem, who passed away in May.
- Founder: Charlie was a key founder of Frontera and instrumental in protecting the Wakeem-Teschner Nature Preserve.
- Advocate: After retirement, he advocated for open spaces in El Paso, cherishing its natural beauty, especially the sunsets.
Race Information
- Start Time: 7:30 AM for the 5K and 8:00 AM for the 1-mile walk.
- No Pets: No dogs will be allowed in the preserve during the race.
