Race Overview

This November, lace up your running shoes and join us for the Turkey Shuffle, a delightful race set amidst the serene beauty of Texas parks and greenbelts. As autumn paints the landscape with vibrant hues and the Texas heat takes a brief respite, participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in the stunning fall colors while enjoying a well-organized and festive running experience.

Race Distances

• Kids Dash: This exhilarating sprint of approximately 50 meters is designed for children aged 10 and under, promising a fun-filled experience for the little ones.
• 1 Mile: Designed for all ages and experience levels. This event is not chip-timed and includes a tee shirt and race medal.
• 5K: A chip-timed race covering 3.11 miles, featuring overall trophies for male and female finishers.
• 10K: A chip-timed race covering 6.22 miles, featuring overall trophies and recognition pins.

Entertainment

• DJ Sasquatch: Will be on hand to keep the energy high with a fantastic playlist.
• Costume Contest: Embrace the Thanksgiving spirit with your most creative costume for a chance to win amazing prizes.
• Award Recognition: Every runner will be celebrated with recognition and age group awards.
• Race Rally Tent: Snacks and refreshments will be available when you finish at the race rally tent.

Event Schedule

• 7:30-8:40am: Packet Pickup ends 20 minutes after the race.
• 8:55am: Kids Dash starts (meet at the Start Line).
• 9:00am: National Anthem and Race Start!
• Awards: Results and awards are live and available at the Registration tent immediately following your finish!
