Race Overview
UNC’s SHAC (Student Health Action Coalition) Clinic is the oldest student-run clinic in the nation, helping medically underserved populations in Chapel Hill and surrounding areas. Join us in celebrating the SHAC’s 58th anniversary at the SHAC 5K & Health Fair on Sunday, October 4th!
Event Details
- Date and Time: October 4th, 7:30 am
- Location: UNC Campus Y Courtyard, 180 E Cameron Ave, Chapel Hill, NC
- Parking: Free parking available on campus and on Franklin Street.
- Online Registration: Register here
Entry Fee
- Early Registration Fee: $25 until September 15th
- Regular Registration Fee: $30 from September 16th to race day
- T-shirt: Included for those who register by September 15th
- Packet Pickup: Begins at 7 am on race day for pre-registered entrants
Awards
- Overall Awards: Prizes for top three male and female finishers, and top non-binary finisher
- Age Group Awards: Prizes for top finisher in age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over

100% of the proceeds will go towards SHAC’s free health services for our uninsured and underinsured neighbors in Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and Durham. Whether you sign up for the 5K or donate - your help and support is greatly appreciated!
