RUN, WALK, ROLL, OR STROLL!

Help us get to 500 participants (in-person or virtual 5K and 8K) and we will give ONE MALE and ONE FEMALE participant a FREE YEAR of Fit & Able-owned races! That's a FREE entry of your choice to each Fit & Able race - a nearly $1,000 VALUE!
* Must be registered in the in-person or virtual 5K or 8K to be eligible to win. Random drawing after the in-person race.

Back by popular demand for the 12th year, it won't be long before it's time to greet the New Year again with friends and a big mug of hot chocolate! As always everyone who finishes the race gets a great mug and medal, all the hot chocolate they can drink, and all dog entries go to support the SPCA of Wake County. Mutts & Marshmallows is also the first race of Fit & Able's annual Free-for-All Race Series.

Fit & Able loves family fitness and whose four-legged furry friend isn't part of the family? Dog owners are welcome to run with their pups in the Doggie Dash 5K and Doggie Dash 8K! For only $10 per pup it will be happy trails for both runners and their dogs. AND, the full $10 dog fee goes to support the Wake County SPCA!

All races will have a mass start at:

• 9:00 AM: Doggie Dash 5K / Doggie Dash 8K
• 9:45 AM: Fun Mile
• 10:00 AM: Regular 5K / 8K

The course closes for all races at 11:30 AM (In-person Race Day Schedule). Please consider your race pace when deciding which event to run. The Doggie Dash 5K / Doggie Dash 8K races and regular 5K / 8K races will run separately but have combined results and awards. For any participants who feel they may need some extra time, please contact us at info@fitandable.net.

NEW RRCA INSURANCE GUIDELINES: Only one dog per registered runner and dogs must remain on leashes at all times. You MUST register your dog in order for them to run with you. Dogs are ONLY allowed in the Doggie Dash 5K and Doggie Dash 8K. Kids 12 & Younger are NOT allowed in the Doggie Dash 5K or Doggie Dash 8K.

* The Doggie Dash Dog Registration is an add-on you can select WHILE registering for the in-person Doggie Dash 5K or Doggie Dash 8K or any virtual race. *

WHAT'S INCLUDED WITH MUTTS & MARSHMALLOWS REGISTRATION:

• Race Distances: IN-PERSON and VIRTUAL 5K, 8K, and Fun Mile.
• Dog-friendly: Doggie Dash 5K and Doggie Dash 8K races too ($10 Doggie Dash fee goes to support the SPCA of Wake County). * Kids 12 & Under may only participate in the regular 5K, 8K, or Fun Mile races. Dogs may only join in the Doggie Dash races.
• Finishers Items: Mutts & Marshmallows ceramic mug and finishers medal included for all 5K, 8K, and Fun Mile participants (guaranteed if signed up by December 28th). Shirts available for purchase separately.
• Awards: Nearly $3,000 in in-person & virtual Overall (Top 3 Male/Female each race), Age Group (Top 3 Male/Female each age group), Picking Up the Pace, & New Course Record awards.
• Team Rewards: Great rewards and prizes you can earn by referring your friends and family to sign up with you or even recruiting them to race as a "team"! * More details below.
