Fit & Able is proud to bring back the Run to Remember on Memorial Day weekend to support the local Veterans of Foreign Wars. Join us at the Northwest Cary YMCA on the Cary greenway trails.

Veterans of Foreign Wars

The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States is a nonprofit veterans service organization comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard and reserve forces.

Race Start and Course Information

All races will have a staggered start beginning at 8:00 AM (in order of distance) and the course closes for all races at 9:30 AM (In-person Race Day Schedule). Please consider your race pace when deciding which event to run. * For any participants who feel they may need some extra time, please contact us at [email protected]. 

What's Included with Registration

• Race Options: IN-PERSON and VIRTUAL 2 Mile, 4 Mile, and 6 Mile race options.
• Finishers Medal: Run to Remember finishers medal and gift included for all 2 Mile, 4 Mile, and 6 Mile participants (guaranteed if signed up by May 16th). Shirts available for purchase separately.
• Awards: Over $4,000 in potential in-person & virtual Overall (Top 3 Male / Female), Age Group (Top 3 Male / Female), Picking Up the Pace, and New Course Record awards.
• Referrals: Great rewards and prizes you can earn by referring your friends and family to sign up with you or even recruiting them to race as a "team"! * More details below
