Event Overview
Kansas City's first and only 5K to benefit Hospice and Palliative Care!
- Mission: Our mission is to raise awareness and support for Hospice and Palliative Care, specifically benefiting those at Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care and Midland Care Hospice of Topeka and Lawrence.
- Impact: Since the 2014 inaugural race, Heroes for Hospice has raised and donated a net $248,000 to the two hospice houses!
Race Details
This family friendly race will take place on a fun route around the Lions Gate Golf Course starting and finishing at REI in Prairiefire. Bring your friends and family out to support an amazing cause. Runners, walkers and stroller/wagon riders are all welcome to join!

Awards and Registration
There will be awards given to the top overall male/female winners and overall male/female masters runners following the race. All registered participants receive a complimentary Heroes for Hospice race shirt.
