🎆 Event Overview

Kick off your Independence Day celebrations ahead of schedule by joining us for a 5K or 10K run at Old Town Lenexa!

🎉 Family-Friendly Experience

• Participants: Over 1,600 participants come together for an unforgettable 4th of July experience.
• Everyone Welcome: Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or pushing a stroller, all are welcome to take part in this race celebrating the 4th of July!

🏅 Race Perks

• T-shirt: You will receive a complementary Freedom Run T-shirt, while supplies last. We will honor size requests to the extent possible.
• Finisher Medals: Finisher medals are optional and cost $5.
• Awards: Plaques will be given out to first place finishers and medals to 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each age division.
• Age Divisions: There are 16 different age divisions for both male and female in the 5K race and 8 in the 10K race.

• No Refunds: Please note that no refunds will be given.

📦 Packet Pickup

There are two options for picking up your race packet:

• July 3, 2026: from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Lenexa Old Town Activity Center, 9301 Pflumm Rd., Lenexa, KS 66215
• July 4, 2026: from 5:30 a.m. – 6:45 a.m. at the Lenexa Old Town Activity Center, 9301 Pflumm Rd., Lenexa, KS 66215
