Hills Are Alive Run/Walk

Event Overview

• Join us: for the 2026 Hills Are Alive 5k Run/Walk and 10k Run!
• Race Date: Saturday May 30, 2026
• Race Options: 5K Run or Walk, 10K Run, Virtual 5k or 10k
• Location: Historic Ernie Howlett Park, Rolling Hills Estates, CA

Schedule

• Check-in Time: Begins at 7 am
• Race Start Time: 8 am
• Scenic Route: Enjoy a trail route through the City’s bridle trails
• Finish: Ends back at the park

Participant Perks

• Event T-shirt: All registered participants receive an event t-shirt
• Custom Medal: Every participant will receive a custom medal
• Trophies: Winners for the 5K and 10K events (first place only for men and women)
• Packet Pick-Up: In-person runners/walkers must register prior to Friday, May 29 for early packet pick-up

Packet Pick-Up Details

• When: Friday, May 29 from 9:00 am-4:30 pm
• Where: City Hall, 4045 Palos Verdes Drive North, Council Chambers
• Same-Day Pick-Up: For registrants on race day at Ernie Howlett Park
• Registration Notes: Any in-person runners or walkers who register on Friday, May 30 or on race day will pick up their packets at Ernie Howlett Park the day of the race

Registration Fees

• Early Registration: $30 until 3/31/26 at 11:59 pm
• Standard Registration: $40 until 5/29/26 at 8:00 pm
• Day of Registration: $45 - IN-PERSON ONLY from 7:00 AM - 7:50 AM
• Note: There are no strollers or dogs allowed on the race course
