Hills Are Alive Run/Walk

Event Overview

• Join us: for the 2026 Hills Are Alive 5k Run/Walk and 10k Run!
• Race Date: Saturday May 30, 2026
• Options: 5K Run or Walk, 10K Run, Virtual 5k or 10k
• Location: Historic Ernie Howlett Park

Event Schedule

• Check-in: Begins at 7 am
• Race Start: 8 am
• Route: Scenic trail route through the City’s bridle trails
• Finish: Ends back at the park

Participant Perks

• T-shirt: All registered participants receive an event t-shirt
• Medal: Custom medal for all participants
• Trophies: Winners for the 5k and 10k events (first place only: women and men)
• Registration: Early registration ends March 31, 2026

Packet Pick-Up

• In-Person Pick-Up: For those registered prior to Friday, May 29
• Location: City Hall, 4045 Palos Verdes Drive North, Council Chambers
• Time: Friday, May 29th, from 9:00 am-4:30 pm
• Race Day Pick-Up: For those registering on May 30 at Ernie Howlett Park

Fees

• Early Registration: $30 until 3/31/26 at 11:59 pm
• Standard Registration: $40 until 5/29/26 at 8:00 pm
• Day of Registration: $45 - IN-PERSON ONLY from 7:00 AM - 7:50 AM
• Note: There are no strollers or dogs allowed on the race course
