Martinsburg's Annual Fall Race of the Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival! The Apple Trample Tradition Continues — Better Than Ever. New Course! New Time!

Join us for the annual WVU Hospitals East Foundation's Bob Baronner Apple Trample 5K as part of the Apple Harvest Festival activities! It's a fun morning of running and walking with family, friends and even your beloved four-legged friends can join in the fun.

Proceeds raised support the WVU Hospitals East Foundation Cancer Comfort Fund, which provides resources and assistance to cancer patients.

RACE DETAILS & INFORMATION

RACE COURSE

• Location: RACE NOW STARTS and FINISHES in the same location! War Memorial Park on Tennessee Ave in Martinsburg.
• Route: The route starts at War Memorial Park, takes you through the neighborhood and onto King Street, following the Apple Harvest Parade Route.
• Directions: From King Street, turn left on Maple Ave, right on Burke Street, and right on Queen Street.
• Return: Runners/Walkers will turn around at the corner of Queen and Stephen St and head back to the park.

POST-RACE CELEBRATION

• Event: Enjoy a post-race party and awards ceremony featuring local apples and other goodies.
• Awards: Awards to the top male and female runners, plus the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each age group.
• Timing: Awards will be given immediately following the race.
• Age Group Awards: 1st, 2nd & 3rd place for both male and female within specified age groups.

AWARDS

• Overall Winners: Top Man and Woman (overall winners will be excluded from age group awards).
• Age Groups: Awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place for both male and female in age groups: <:9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, >:70.
• Stroller Participation: A youth that participates from a stroller will not be considered a timed participant and will not be eligible for any awards.
• New Addition: A youth participating from a stroller is exempt from timing and awards.

TIMING

• Timed Event: All runners and walkers will be timed.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION

• Start Time: Registration starts at War Memorial Park at 7:30am.

PACKET PICK-UP

• Location: Packet pickup will only take place on Race Day Morning at War Memorial Park.

RACE PROCEEDS SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY

The Apple Trample 5K benefits the WVU Hospitals East Foundation Cancer Comfort Fund and Cancer Services, helping provide financial assistance and critical resources to community members battling cancer. Proceeds also support the Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival Committee and its community impact initiatives.
