About this race
Event Overview
The Waterford High School is hosting the 14th Annual 5K Turkey Trot Run/Walk on Saturday, November 21, 2026.
The 5K race will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Great Neck School located at 165 Great Neck Road, Waterford.
The race will be timed by Fast Track Timing LLC.
Proceeds from this fun, community event will directly support whole school initiatives including prom, trips and scholarships.
Awards and Registration
- Awards: Awards for top runners in each age group.
- T-Shirt: A complimentary t-shirt will be given to all pre-registered runners.
- Cost: The pre-registration cost is $40.
- Registration Deadline: Pre-registration forms are accepted now until November 19, 2026.
Bib Distribution
Bib distribution will start at 8:45 am on race day.
Community Support
We will be collecting donations for the Gemma Moran Food Pantry on race day.
- Needed Items: Shelf-stable microwable meals.
- Other Items: Oatmeal, ramen, mac and cheese, peanut butter, pasta and sauce.
- Canned Goods: Canned fruit, canned veggies, soup.
- Staples: Rice, dry beans, and shelf-stable milk.
