Holo Kahakai 5K, 10K or 1/2 Marathon Fun Run

🌊 Event Overview

Join Big Island Road Runners on Saturday June 14, 2025 starting at 7:00 am for the Holo Kahakai Fun Run.

🏃‍♂️ Race Distances

We will mark out 3 distances:

• 5K: A scenic course for those looking for a shorter distance.
• 10K: Perfect for runners wanting a bit more challenge.
• ½ Marathon: An exciting longer distance, running to HWY 132 and back.

📍 Location & Timing

• Meet Up: Kahakai Park in Pahoa – Run starts at 7:00 AM sharp.
• Event Ends: 10:00 AM.
• Directions: From HWY 130 take Kahakai Blvd which is just past the Pahoa Roundabout. Follow to the very end where you will run into the park.

🚰 Hydration & Snacks

• Aid Stations: Will be provided but bring your own hydration in case it is hot.
• Post-Race Snacks: Available at the end of the event.
• Sign Up: Day of race registration between 6:30 to 6:50.

💵 Registration Fees

Free to BIRR members, $10 donation for non-members.

If you are a BIRR Member the $10 donation will be dropped from your registration.
