About this race
The Advance Labor Day Picnic is a hometown tradition that is celebrated throughout the entire Labor Day weekend. And this year we are excited to continue the 5k run/walk with the festivities.
5K: The 5K race course is flat and fast. Perfect for setting a record or a personal best! This course is USATF certified for USATF and State records. But you don't have to be fast to participate. The 5K is a run or walk. Strollers are welcome!
The race course begins and ends in Westfield Park. The race course leaves Westfield Park on W. Masters Street. A left turn onto Tilly Street, then three short blocks to another left turn onto Old C Highway. Down Old C Highway to the turn around, and follow the same route back to Westfield Park. The last half mile is on the paved running trail in Westfield park, providing a great venue for spectators to cheer on the runners.

- 5K Overall Male and Female awards.
- 5K Age Group awards.
- T-shirts for 5k registration. To facilitate t-shirts for all participants, we will order t-shirts and deliver them after the race.
*All registrations are final, non-transferable, and non-refundable. The race will occur rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme conditions. There will be no refunds in the event of cancellation.
