Hydrants, Hoses, and Heroes 5K

🎉 Event Overview

Join us on May 2, 2026 to celebrate International Firefighters Day by participating in our Hydrants, Hoses, and Heroes 5K Run/Walk event. This 5K event is perfect for all ages and stages of fitness!

🚒 About the Organization

The Highland Fire Department Auxiliary was founded in 2019 to help support the Highland Fire Department and the community.

• Support: We provide financial support for Fire Department initiatives.
• Essentials: We offer food/beverages for the team during fires and emergencies.
• Assistance: We support those families impacted by fires.

🕖 Event Details

• Registration: Registration for the event will begin at 7:00 a.m. at the Madison County Fairgrounds.
• Race Start: The race will begin at 8:00 a.m.
• Route: The route will be 3.1 miles that you can walk or run at your own pace.

Sign up by April 11th to be guaranteed a T-shirt!

🏅 Awards

• Medals: Medals will be awarded to the Top Male and Top Female in each age division as well as the Top Overall Male and Female.
• Age Divisions: Age divisions are as follows: 14 and Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
