Join the Fun at the 11th Annual Cougars Unleashed Homecoming Run & Pancake Breakfast
When: Saturday, Sept. 26th | 9 a.m. | SIUE Stratton Quad
Overview: All Roads Lead Home to the 11th Annual Cougars Unleashed Homecoming Run & Pancake Breakfast, part of SIUE’s Homecoming & Family Weekend and in commemoration of the Route 66 Centennial Celebration! Choose from a 10K, 5K, or Fun Run: whether you’re a competitive runner or just in it for the pancakes, there’s something for everyone. This event welcomes alumni, students, faculty, staff, families, friends, and community members. Furry friends are welcome to join the fun too!

Run for a Great Cause!
Your participation helps fund more than $20,000 in annual student scholarships and supports SIUE Alumni Association programs that keep Cougars connected long after graduation. Net proceeds may support alumni operations, current Alumni Association scholarships, and/or permanently endowed scholarship funds.

After crossing the finish line, enjoy:
- Pancake Breakfast: Complimentary Chris Cakes Pancake Breakfast.
- Post-Run Beer: Post-run beer from Global Brew (participants 21+).
- Race Timing: Official race timing by Final Lap Racing.
- Awards Ceremony: Trophies for top 2 male/female finishers (10K & 5K), plus medals for the top 2 in each age group.
