Event Details and Schedule

5K Race

• Date: Saturday, November 14, 2026 at 9:15 a.m.
• Timed Event: Award categories for 1st to 3rd places across age and gender.
• Registration: Please visit this link for further information and to register, or just buy a shirt and support our Ranger Vets.

10K Race

• Date: Saturday, November 14, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.
• Timed Event: Awards for 1st to 3rd places in each age and gender category.
• Parking: Abundant parking available in Dahlonega, safety precautions will be taken.

Half Marathon (Mountain Marathon)

• Date: Sunday, November 15, 2026 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Course: Uses forestry roads where US Rangers train, covering 13.1 miles with challenging hills.
• Location: Starts and finishes at Camp Merrill's airfield, mostly off-pavement.
• Post-Event: Food and beverages available at The Overhang, including beer and a full menu.

Ranger Challenge

• Sign Up: Participate in the 5K or 10K on Saturday, November 14th, and the half marathon on Sunday, November 15th.
• Extra Challenge: Complete two races for a fulfilling experience!
• Pre-Registration: Strongly requested for planning purposes: walk-up registrants may not receive a T-shirt.

Awards

• 5K Awards: Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female and Age Groups 1st, 2nd, and 3rd starting from ages 10 and Under to 60 and Up.
• 10K and Half Marathon Awards: Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female and Age Groups 1st, 2nd, and 3rd from ages 14 and Under to 60 and Up.
• Recognition: Top overall male/female per category receives a Custom Crafted Ranger Plaque.
• Merchandise: Long sleeve T-shirts and hoodies available for an additional purchase.
