Join us for some feathered fun at the inaugural the Chicken Chase 5K, a fun-filled running event in conjunction with George Fest!
Race Details
- Date: 2026-08-01
- Location: 205 E 3rd St., Rock Falls, IL
- Course: An out-and-back course starting near the McCormick Event Center and crossing over the Sinnissippi Dam Walking Bridge.
- Turnaround: Runners will continue west on the recreational path and turn around near 16th Ave. & 2nd St. in Sterling.
Additional Activities
In addition to the Chicken Chase 5K and Little Chicks Dash, George Fest will feature:
- Classic Car Show: A showcase of vintage vehicles.
- Kids Activities: Tons of fun events for children.
- Eating Contest: Participate in the Chicken George eating contest.
