• Description: In 2021, Sawyer Burch was diagnosed with a rare metabolic disorder called TFP (Trifunctional Protein Deficiency), which affects the body’s ability to produce energy at the cellular level. Symptoms can be life-threatening, often requiring frequent hospital stays and posing serious risks.
• Mission: Sawyer’s family has made it their mission to raise awareness and support research for TFP and similar metabolic disorders. Thanks to the generosity of our community, over HALF A MILLION DOLLARS has already been raised!
