A Message from the Race Director

• Personal Connection: The director's family has a multi-generational history with ALS
• Awareness: ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, is 100% fatal and currently has no cure
• Statistics: Familial ALS accounts for 5 to 10 percent of all ALS cases
• Dedication: The race is in honor of director’s mom, Sally, and all individuals living with ALS
