Race Overview

• Event Date: 2027-02-17
• Location: 5387 Mill Creek Rd, Cat Spring, TX
• Event Format: 6-hour, 12-hour, 24-hour, 48-hour, 72-hour, and 100-hour timed events
• Team Options: Compete as a 2-6 person team in the 24-Hour Relay

Venue Details

• Location: 7IL Ranch, just outside of Cat Spring / Bellville, Texas
• Facilities: Barn and pavilion staging area, ample parking, on-site camping, washroom and shower facilities, RV hookup spots
• Reservation: RV reservations made separately through CampSpot
• Atmosphere: Open landscape and welcoming ranch setting for a true Texas ultra experience

Course Information

• Course Layout: Flat, fast 2-mile out-and-back on a short-grass and gravel farm road
• Distance: One mile out to the infamous “Cone of Death” and one mile back
• Laps: Participants complete as many full 2-mile laps as they choose within their selected event duration
• Breaks: Extended breaks, sleeping, personal aid setup, and leaving/returning to the ranch are allowed

Aid Station and Support

• Aid Station: Fully stocked main aid station at the start/finish
• Food: Texas-sized ultra buffet, including real food options for overnight participants
• Tent Setup: Runners encouraged to set up their own tents and crew areas along the course for easy access
• Supports: Runners can have personal support along the route

Participant Perks

• Swag: All participants receive a mounted jackalope head and a race shirt or hoodie (depending on event distance)
• Keepsake: Each participant receives a special keepsake
• Milestone Rewards: Solo competitors reaching 100 kilometers or more will earn a buckle
• Bonus Patches: Available for ruck participants

Relay Pricing and Format

• Member Refund: Each additional team member registration gives previous members a $10 refund
• Pricing: All members pay the same amount; larger teams have a lower per-person registration fee
• Exchange Rules: Runners can only be exchanged in the exchange area at the start/finish after completing laps
• Team Divisions: Compete in all male, all female, or coed (minimum 2 female)
