Boombox Miles 5k & 10k

Event Overview

Throwback 5K, 10K &: Little Boombox Miles – Get ready to rewind time and hit the pavement at our female-only Throwback 5K &: 10K in Fort Worth! Inspired by the days when boomboxes, bright colors, and your favorite throwback hits filled the streets, this event is all about celebrating fitness, friendship, and fun.

Who Can Participate

• All Runners Welcome: Whether you're running your first race or chasing a new personal record.
• Community Spirit: Experience an encouraging community where every pace is welcome.
• Retro Dress Code: Pull out your favorite retro outfit and gather your friends for a memorable girls' day out.
• Kids Are Included: We also offer the Little Boombox Miles, a short fun run for kids who aren’t ready for the full 5K.

Registration Details

The first 200 participants to register will secure a custom race-themed bib! Your race registration includes a bib and a finisher medal, and you can ADD on a race theme shirt.

On-Site Amenities

• Local Vendors: Explore a variety of local vendors at the event.
• Fun Stations: Enjoy glitter station, bib bedazzle station, and temporary tattoo station.
• Entertainment: Experience music, photo opportunities, and an unforgettable race-day experience.

Awards & Recognition

Age Group Awards (3 Deep): 0–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70+
Overall Awards: Overall Female, Overall Masters (40+), Overall Grand Masters (60+)
Awards will be distributed at the event only. We do not ship awards. Please check your results before leaving the event to ensure you receive any awards you have earned.

Race Day Schedule

• Early Packet Pickup: TBD
• Race Day Check-In: 6:45 AM – 8:00 AM
• Little Boom Box Dash: 7:30 AM
• 10K Start: 8:00 AM, 5K Start: 8:10 AM
• Awards Ceremony: 9:30 AM
• Course Closes: 10:30 AM

Volunteer Roles

• Early Packet Pick-Up: Help runners grab their race bibs, tees, and goodies before race day!
• Race Day Check-In: Be the friendly face that welcomes participants and gets them race-ready.
• Water Station Crew: Keep our heroes hydrated with cheers and chilled water!
