About this race

Race Overview

Chi Omega and Farmhouse will be hosting a 5K on Saturday, August 29th, 2026 in Auburn beginning and ending on Auburn University’s Cater Lawn.

Proceeds from the event will go toward benefitting both organizations' philanthropies: the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the National Marrow Donor Program.

Registration

  • Pre-Registration: Cost for Pre-Registration is $30 and includes a T-shirt. Register by August 17th to guarantee your event t-shirt. Pre-registration will end August 25th at midnight.
  • Student Registration: Cost for Student Registration is $15 but does not include a t-shirt. Students must show their Student ID at packet pick up.
  • Race Day Registration: $60 with no guarantee of a t-shirt.

Packet Pick-Up

  • Early Packet Pick-Up: Will be held at Farmhouse Fraternity (522 W Thach Avenue) on August 27th from 4:00-6:00pm.
  • Race Day Check-In: Will be from 7:00-7:45am on Cater Lawn.

Color

  • Color Lanes: At various points along the route participants may choose to run through "color lanes" where volunteers will throw a different colored powder onto the participants.
  • Color Powder: Non-toxic, and washes easily out of clothing.
  • Dress Code: Wear white clothing or your race t-shirt for the best effect.
  • Eye Protection: Participants may wish to wear sunglasses or other eye protection.

Awards

Awards will be given to Top 3 Male runners and Top 3 Female runners.

Water Station

A water station will be available approximately at the 1.5 mile mark.

Parking

There is free on-street parking available throughout downtown. There is additional parking in the Burton Street and Wright Street parking decks that both charge $1 per hour.
