Introduction

• Valentin’s Journey: Valentin’s introduction to life was not an easy one. He suffered a brain injury at birth resulting in cerebral palsy, CVI, global developmental delays and many other medical complications.
• Medical Challenges: Valentin has been in and out of hospitals, gone through multiple surgeries, and powered through intense therapies at only 3 years of age.
• Resilience: Despite all the hurdles he’s had to jump, Valentin remains strong and resilient. Join Valentin on his journey through life with Cerebral Palsy and always remember to be #ValiantLikeValentin.
• Community Support: Join us for Run For Valentin 5K &: 1 Mile, a community event dedicated to supporting Valentin and his family.

• Fundraising: Proceeds from this event will benefit funds for Valentin's treatments, therapies, and ongoing medical needs.

• Date: Saturday, October 3, 2026
• Location: Mission Hike &: Bike Trails – Mission, TX
• 5K Run: 8:00 a.m.
• 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk: 8:10 a.m.

Arrival Information

• Arrival Time: Please arrive by 7:30 a.m. for parking, stretching, and warm-up activities.
• Refreshments: Refreshments and a hydration station will be available after you cross the finish line!

Registration Fee

• 5K Run: $35
• 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk: $20
• T-Shirt Size Deadline: September 12, 2026
• Shirt Distribution: Participants registered after this date are not guaranteed their exact race shirt size.

Packet Pickup

• Location: Valley Running, 1701 Dove Ave W, Suite J, McAllen, TX 78504
• Date: Friday, October 2, 2026
• Time: 3:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Important: All participants must pick up their race bibs and shirts during packet pickup.
