Race Description

• Zombie Survival Challenge: Do you think you can survive the zombie apocalypse?
• Lives System: Every runner starts with 3 lives: you'll encounter Zombie Zones where zombies will be waiting to attack.
• Tagged by Zombies: If you’re tagged by a zombie, you must stop so they can mark off one of your lives on your bib.
• Safe Areas: Zombies can only tag runners inside the Zombie Zones, so use the safe areas wisely and make your escape.

Life Status

• 3 lives remaining: SURVIVOR
• 1-2 lives remaining: ESCAPEE
• 0 lives remaining: INFECTED
• Finisher Medal: Every participant who crosses the finish line will receive a custom race medal.

• Dedication: This 5K is dedicated to Kidd, our 1-year-old deaf boxer diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia.
• Medical Challenges: Despite numerous medical challenges, Kidd continues to show joyful spirit and determination.
• Surgery Costs: Kidd is scheduled for a major right hip surgery costing $10,250.
• Goal of the Race: Help offset the cost of Kidd's surgery and recovery to provide him a better life.
