Great Strides RGV 5K Run/ Walk

Event Overview

The Great Strides RGV 5K & Walk is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's signature fundraising event, bringing together runners, walkers, families, and local businesses to support the fight against cystic fibrosis - a rare, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. Join us on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Westside Park in McAllen, TX for a fun, family-friendly morning making a difference, one step at a time.

Registration Details

• Registration Fee: $35 5K registration includes custom finisher medal, official race bib with chip timing, age group awards, music & family-friendly fun.
• Incentive: Plus! Raise $100 or more and earn the official Great Strides RGV event t-shirt!

Packet Pick-Up

• Date: Friday, October 2 – Location & time TBD.
• Race Day: Saturday, October 3 beginning at 7:00 AM before the race.
• Important Note: Packets will not be mailed if they are not picked up.
• Medal Policy: Finisher medals will be awarded only at the finish line and will not be mailed to in-person participants.

Refund Policy

Registration fees are non-refundable, including if you are unable to attend or if the event is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control.
