"Hometown of Heroes" Half Marathon

🏅 Registration Information

• Deadline: Registration closes midnight Thursday March 6th, 2025.
• Price: Half Marathon $50, Half Marathon Relay ($25 each person), 10K race $25.

🏃‍♂️ Race Categories

• Half Marathon: A 13.1-mile individual race.
• Two Person Relay: Chip timed, finisher medal and t-shirt.
• 10K Race: A 6.2 mile individual race.

📍 Packet Pick Up Information

• Location: 315 Mark S. Peña Dr, Edinburg, TX 78539.
• Date: Friday, March 7th from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Race Day: Sunday March 9th from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.

⏰ Start Time

• Commencement: The races will commence at 7:45 a.m.
• Note: Participants should plan to arrive early for check-in and any pre-race preparations.

🏆 Awards

• Half Marathon: Overall Male/Female, Top 3 Male/Female in age groups: 1-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
• 2 Person Relay: Top 3 relay teams.
• 10K Run: Top 3 Male/Female overall (NO AGE GROUPS).

🏞️ Course Highlights

• HEB Park: Scenic and flat course.
• Jackson Road Hike n’ Bike Trail: Pass through various city landmarks and parks.
• UTRGV: Participants will enjoy a visually appealing and diverse experience.
