The Cornerstone Orthopedic Institute will host its inaugural Motion is Medicine 5k Run/Walk in celebration of Bone and Joint Action Week.

Event Purpose
- Promotion: Joint-friendly activity
- Prevention: Awareness for orthopedic disorders such as trauma, spine diseases, arthritis, osteoporosis, and pediatric musculoskeletal conditions
- Funding: Net proceeds will help patients by easing medical costs and increasing accessibility to orthopedic care
- Goal: To take steps toward healthier movement, injury prevention, and lifelong bone and joint health
Schedule
- 5K Run: 8:00 a.m.
- 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk: 8:10 a.m.
- Arrival Time: Please arrive by 7:30 a.m. for parking, stretching, and warm-up activities
- Post-Race: Refreshments and a hydration station available after finishing
Registration Details
- Registration Fee: Free for both 5K Run and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk
- T-Shirt Size Deadline: September 19, 2026
- Shirt Availability: After the deadline, sizes are not guaranteed and remaining shirts will be distributed first-come, first-served
- Packet Pickup: Cornerstone Institute on October 9th from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
