Jog with a Frog 5K & 1 Mile Walk presented by AQUA DOC Lake and Pond Management

Race Information

Race Start time: 8:30AM

T-Shirts: for the first 150 people who register. Guaranteed shirt size available for those who registered by August 22, 2026.

Purpose

Why: This race is to raise awareness and support for Project Hope for the Homeless, the only emergency homeless shelter in Lake County.

Awards

5K Race Awards: The top 3 male finishers and top 3 female finishers will be awarded.

Age Group Awards: Awards will also be given to the top 3 finishers in the following age groups:

• 14 and younger: Awards for this age group
• 15-19: Awards for this age group
• 20-29: Awards for this age group
• 30-39: Awards for this age group
• 40-49: Awards for this age group
• 50-59: Awards for this age group
• 60-69: Awards for this age group
• 70 and older: Awards for this age group

1 Mile Walk: The 1 Mile Walk is untimed and no awards will be given.

Location

Venue: Project Hope for the Homeless, 25 Freedom Road, Painesville Township, Ohio - (off Newell Street, first street north of the railroad tracks).

Parking

Parking: The Dyson Corporation parking lot on Freedom Road just to the west of Project Hope for the Homeless.

Registration

Day of Event: In-person registration along with race bib and shirt distributions will be from 7:30 am to 8:15 am on Sat. Aug. 22 at Project Hope for the Homeless.
