About this race
Description
Got energy to burn? Join us at local parks for 45-60 minutes of fun practices and exciting races! We will run rain or shine. Dress comfy, lace up your sneakers, and grab a water bottle. Parents and volunteers are needed to run with the kids!
Practices will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays when this is not a meet. A practice schedule will be emailed out to participants.
Participants will join 45-60 minute practice held at local parks and have opportunity to compete in meets. We will run rain or shine unless there is lightning. Dress appropriately and bring a water bottle! Parents are welcome to run with the kids.
Race Distances:
5-8 years old: 2K
9-12 years old: 3K
Awards: The top 3 finishers in each age and gender group will receive a medal at each local meet.
Volunteers are always welcome and needed to run with the kids at practice and to put on successful meets! Please contact Jordan Bleil at jbleil@coralville.org if you are interested in volunteering.
