Date: Saturday, October 10, 2026 (RAFT Weekend)

Start Time: 9:00 a.m.

Location: 3118 Inter-Garrison Rd, Seaside, CA - In front of the Otter Student Union, Cal State Monterey Bay

Event Overview

• Purpose: It's time to break a stride and bust a sweat for student scholarships!
• Registration: Required in advance: donations encouraged to support the student scholarship fund.
• Participation: Open to families, students, staff, faculty, and community members.
• Accompanied by: Our mascot, Monte Rey, as you walk, run, or roll through our beautiful campus.

Registration Details

• Deadline: Please register by Friday, Oct. 9, 2026.
• Participants: Open to all community members: under 18 must participate with a guardian.
• Volunteers: Must be 18 years or older, strollers allowed in the last leg for safety.
• Note: No cash accepted and no registrations on race day.

Fees

• CSUMB Students: Free registration with Student ID and promo code: "CSUMBSTUDENT2026."
• Other Participants: $35 (plus processing fee) until August 31st: increases to $40 after.
• Children under 12: Free as untimed participants (waivers required).
• Contribution: $20 from each registration goes to the student scholarship fund.

Inclusions

• Registration includes: Race bib
• Awards: Race medal
• Merchandise: Race T-shirt (new color this year!)
• Refreshments: Post-race refreshments

Bib Pick Up

• Dates: Week of Oct. 5th - Oct. 9th, and on race morning from 7:30 a.m. - 8:15 a.m.
• Required: Photo ID and completion of online waiver.
• Location: In front of the Otter Student Union.

Race Day Information

• Arrival: Please arrive early, 30 to 60 minutes before the 9:00 a.m. start time.
• Course: Will be cleared by 11 a.m.: after which participants must use sidewalks.

Parking

• Location: Lot 71 (see parking map).
• Permit: Required: daily pass costs $5.
• Payment: Can be done at the yellow parking meter or online at CSUMB Parking Permits.
