QC Java Jog 2K & 5K

Event Overview

Coffee, java, cup-of-joe, jitter juice, rocket fuel... whatever you want to call that cup of goodness, we love it! If you love it too, then the Java Jog 2K &: 5K is the event for you! Come and enjoy this fun, coffee-themed run @ The scenic Case Creek Trails overlooking Case Creek Valley on Sunday, Sept 20th! After the sun rises at 10:00 a.m. you`ll embark on a breathtaking route through pastures and woodlands throughout the beautiful Case Creek Valley!

Post-Race Treats

• Partnership: In partnership with Death Wish Coffee.
• Refreshments: Each participant gets a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate after the run / walk.
• Aid Stations: There will be multiple aid COFFEE stations on the course.
• Treats: Enjoy some of your favorite treats, including donuts, at the nutrition table!

Your participation means more than just a great workout: it supports The Rock Island County Animal Care &: Control Shelter through QC PAWS, directly aiding in the care they provide to their animals.

Race Format

• Fun Run: This is a fun run, meaning it will not be timed.
• Participation: Everyone can run or walk at their own pace without worrying about their finish time.
• Accessibility: Suitable for people of all fitness levels, from beginners to experienced runners.
• Focus: The main goal is to have fun and participate, not to compete for the fastest time.

QC Java Jog Swag

• Perks: Start your day with a run or walk, and revel in perks including an optional custom T-shirt.
• Finisher Medal: Participants receive a shiny finisher Medal or Dog Tag.
• Custom Bib: Enjoy a custom race bib and a delicious treat at the end.
• Registration: Lock in your preferred swag by registering before September 1st.

Event Details

• Cost: Adults 16 years and up $27.50-$44.50: Kids 5 to 15 years of age $15.50 accompanied by an adult.
• Packet Pickup: Race-day packet pickup will be available from 9:20 am – 10:55 am.
• Weather Policy: The run / walk will go on regardless of the weather: may be cancelled or postponed in extreme conditions.
• Start Times: Coed / JAVA JOG start times are 5K – 10:00 AM and 2K – 10:00 AM.

Additional Information

• Arrival: Arrive 30 to 40 min before your time for check-in and packet pickup.
• Spectator Areas: There will be certain areas where spectators can watch.
