Juneteenth Freedom 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join us for our 3rd Annual Juneteenth Freedom 5K on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 8:00am at White Hall State Historic Site.

Race proceeds and donations will be split between 3 local charities --- The Maurice Hibbard Non-Traditional Scholarship, The Friends of Maple Grove Cemetery, and New Liberty Family Shelter. Read more about these charities below. For 2025, we are commemorating the "Historic Footsteps" of those before us.

• Scenic Course: Closed course on paved trails at White Hall Park
• Shirts: Commemorative unisex sized performance/tech shirts
• Social Teams: Expand your race experience
• Awards: Top 3 M/F Overall
• Age Categories: 1st Place M/F Awards: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
• Options: 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Fun Walk & Virtual option
• Fun: Music, food trucks, snacks/drinks and fellowship

🗓️ Race Day Schedule

• 6:45AM: Race Day Packet Pickup Until 7:45 a.m.
• 7:45AM: Welcome & Announcements
• 8:00AM: RACE START - 5K Run/Walk & Wheelchair Division
• 8:10AM: 1 Mile Family Fun Walk
• 9:00AM: Awards Ceremony (Top 3 M/F Overall & 1st Place Age Categories)

📦 Advanced Packet Pickup

• Location: MCPL, Room 205, 507 West Main St., Richmond, KY 40475
• Thursday: 3:15 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.
• Friday: 3:00 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.
• If Unable: Race day packet pick-up is on Saturday (6:45 - 7:45 a.m.)
