Race Overview

Run for wine at the eighth annual Cabernet Canter Cross Country 5K/10K at Talon Winery!

• Date: 2026-08-28
• Location: 7086 Tates Creek Rd, Lexington, KY
• Finisher's Award: All participants will receive a finisher's award and a drink ticket redeemable for one glass of Talon wine. Participants under 21 will receive all portions of the finisher award except for the glass of wine.
• After-Party: Stick around after the event to shop the great selection of wines and hang out with live music! The after-party will run until 10 p.m. in the Talon Winery tasting room and Monarch Pavilion.

Packet Pickup

• Before Race Day: Pick up at John's Run/Walk Shop, 317 S. Ashland Ave, Lexington KY 40502
• Dates:
  • Wednesday August 26: 11am - 8pm
  • Thursday August 27: 11am - 8pm
• Race Day Pickup: Friday, August 28, 6 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. at the Talon Winery Tasting Pavilion.
• Early Pickup: If possible, please pick up your packet early to help ensure a smoother race day. You may also pick up for friends.
