Join us for the 2nd Annual #FeedTheKids 3K and help us pay off all student lunch debts for Fayette County Public School students!

Location: WELLINGTON PARK, South Lexington

• Course: Scenic paved 3K (1.86 miles) course at beautiful Wellington Park
• T-Shirts: Commemorative race T-shirts
• Awards: Overall & Age Group Awards (Top 3 M/F Overall & Top 3 M/F in 5-year age groups)
• Included Events: 3K Run/Walk, FREE Kid's Dash (7 and under) and Virtual Option

Packet Pickup

PPU will be held on Friday, September 18th from 3-6pm at J&H Running Company. Picking up for friends/family is encouraged. We'll also have race day PPU from 7:15-8:45am at Wellington Park (park pavilion).

3K Pricing

• Early Bird: $25 (7/6-20)
• Regular: $30 (7/21-8/31)
• Late: $35 (9/1-15)
• Last Minute: $40 (9/16-19)

Charity Information

All proceeds from the #FEEDTHEKIDS 5k will be donated to the Dahlhus Fund, a nonprofit fund through the Bluegrass Community Foundation that aims to pay off all of the student lunch debts for Fayette County Public Schools students. LEARN MORE/DONATE

Did you know that 1 in 4 public school students in the Commonwealth experience food insecurity? During the 2024-25 school year, student lunch debt for Fayette County students topped $35,000. Through fundraising efforts, the Dahlhus Fund was able to issue a grant of $13,000 towards that debt at the end of the '25 school year and aims to pay the entire lunch debt at the end of the 2025-26 year no matter what that amount is.

After Party/Celebration

The after race after party will be at Mirror Twin Brewing's Annex (730 National Avenue 40502) starting at 10:30am. Anyone who brings their race bib to the after party will get a free beer. Brunch is also available for purchase from Rolling Oven Pizza.
