• Purpose: Supporting the DanceBlue Hematology/Oncology Clinic at Kentucky Children’s Hospital

About DanceBlue

• Mission: A completely student-run philanthropy dedicated to the fight against pediatric cancer.
• Inspiration: Founded based on Jarrett Mynear’s request to help the Clinic.
• Efforts: Year-round fundraising, culminating in events like a dance marathon and the annual 5K.
• Impact: All funds raised go directly to supporting Kentucky families at the DanceBlue Hematology/Oncology Clinic.

Our Commitment

• Focus: Improving clinic facilities, supporting groundbreaking research, and providing emotional/financial patient support.
• Goal: To spread joy, honor memories, and celebrate victories in the fight against pediatric cancer.
• Participation: Students receive 20 SPIRIT POINTS for 5K registration.
• Registration Deadline: Closes at 11:59 PM on Sunday, October 11th, 2026.

Packet Pick-Up Information

• Note: There will be no race-day pickup: packets must be picked up beforehand.
• UK Student Pick-Up Location: DanceBlue Office — Gatton Student Center, Room 262A
• Pick-Up Times:
  • October 13th: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM & 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • October 14th: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM & 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • October 15th: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM & 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • October 16th: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
• Deadline: All student packets must be picked up by Friday, October 16th at 2:00 PM.

Community Pick-Up

• Location: John's Run/Walk Shop — 317 S Ashland Ave
• Pick-Up Time:
  • October 17th: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Reminder: Packets cannot be picked up at the 5K: alternative arrangements can be made via email.
