Event Overview
Join us for the 6th annual Some Run!
Date: Saturday, October 3, 2026
Location: 1801 N Hwy 175, Seagoville, TX
Race Options
- Events: Choose between a fast and flat 5K run, a 5K walk, or a scenic shuffle around the pond.
- Prizes: Cash prizes awarded to the top three male and female 5K finishers.
- Charity: All proceeds benefit the A-T Children’s Project aiming to find a cure for A-T.
- Faces of A-T: Meet the kids you’re running in honor of at the display.
Post-Race Celebration
- Activities: Enjoy arm wrestling, raffles, free Starbucks coffee and tea, and free Chick-fil-A Chicken Minis.
- Seagofest: Continue the celebration with live music, food trucks, and carnival rides.
- Finish Line: Fun activities follow right after the race.
- Experience: Great atmosphere for all attendees.
Important Details
- Parking: Large, free parking lot available. Arrive by 7:30 am or the street will be closed.
- Check-In: Arrive by 7:15 am for a 7:30 line-up. Free gear check available.
- Event Timing: Mark your calendars for schedule of events.
- Rain or Shine: The Some Run will occur regardless of weather conditions.
Schedule of Events
- 6:15 - 7:30 am: Walk-up registration & packet pick-up
- 7:30 - 7:40 am: Runners line up at the starting line
- 7:40 - 8:00 am: Opening remarks
- 8:05 am: Some Run 5K kicks off
- 8:10 am: Some Walk and Roll follows the runners
- 8:15 am: Some Shuffle begins
- 9:15 am: Awards ceremony
Event Notes
- Infants: Children under 36 months may participate for free if riding in a stroller, accompanied by a registered adult.
- Registration: Participants registered after September 1, 2026, may not receive a shirt or medal.
- Participation: The event will take place rain or shine.
Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick-up is highly recommended for timely race start. Packets will include a goody bag with an event t-shirt, race bib, and more.
