Eliot Festival 5K Road Race

Race Overview
- Event Purpose: Proceeds support Footprints Food Pantry, Eliot Fuel Assistance Fund, and William Fogg Library.
- Course: USATF-certified and well-marked, with police escort along scenic byways.
- Atmosphere: Fast and competitive, perfect for kicking off the Fall running season.
- Registration: Sign up online at Race Roster.
Schedule of Events
- Opening Ceremony: American flag raising at Eliot Town Hall at 8:15 am.
- Race Start: Immediately following the flag raising.
- Post-Race: Refreshments, awards, and announcements in the Town Hall parking lot.
- Festival Events: Parade, Kid's Fun Run, booths, crafts, music, and more food!
Starting Line
- Location: Start and finish line in the Eliot Town Hall parking lot.
- Access: Walkers and strollers welcome: no dogs or bikes allowed.
- Prizes: Cash prizes for top 3 men and women: medals for all age group winners.
- Team Registration: Teams encouraged: Team Captain should register first.
Packet Pick-up
- When: Friday, September 25 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at Eliot Town Hall parking lot.
- Day-of Pick-up: Saturday, September 26 from 7:00 am to 8:00 am near starting line.
Parking
- Location: Runners' parking is on State Road across from Wiltshire Road.
- Hours: Open from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
- Attendants: Present to direct you: speed limit is 10 MPH.
- Caution: Beware of Poison Ivy in the parking field.
Food and Drink
- Water: Available at start/finish and at a station around 2.8 km on the course.
- Post-Race Nutrition: Complimentary food and drink available for runners after the race.

- Timing System: ChronoTrack chip timing to USATF standards.
- Results: Available at athlinks.com and newenglandruns.com.
- Live Results: Available at www.gsrs.com/raceresults.
- Notification: Results texted to all pre-registered runners shortly after race.
