About the Race
Join us for the 15th annual running of this unique and popular 5K/10K race on July 11, 2026! This stroller-friendly event takes runners on a scenic course through the open green spaces and forested paths along the Tualatin River in Tigard's Cook Park and neighboring areas, offering a fun and memorable experience for all participants.

Virtual Participation
Can’t join us in person? No problem! Sign up for the virtual race and run your own 5K or 10K course—anywhere, anytime. As a virtual participant, you’ll receive a race bib, a shirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement. Want to run with friends? Organize a group virtual run, and we’ll promote it on our website so others can join you!
Race Day Details
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, the start line will remain open for 15 minutes, allowing for a staggered start and plenty of space.

- Mission: Proceeds from this event benefit the Ladybug CDH Foundation.
- Awareness: Raise public awareness about Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH).
- Research: Fund critical medical research.
- Support: Provide direct support to families in the Pacific Northwest facing the challenges of CDH.
Survivor/Angel Signs
We line the sidewalks at Cook Family Park with signs remembering and honoring Angels and Survivors. If you have a CDH Angel or Survivor you would like represented with a sign, please contact us at ladybugcdh@gmail.com. Send us a few sentences about their story and 2-3 photos. We’d love to be able to honor your CDH warrior.
