Ladybug Run for CDH Awareness 5K/10K

Join us for the 14th annual running of this unique and popular 5K/10K race on July 19, 2025! This stroller-friendly event takes runners on a scenic course through the open green spaces and forested paths along the Tualatin River in Tigard's Cook Park and neighboring areas, offering a fun and memorable experience for all participants.

• Finishers' Reward: All 5K and 10K finishers will receive a shirt, medal and a race packet filled with goodies to celebrate their accomplishment.

🏃 Virtual Participation

• Join Remotely: Can’t join us in person? No problem! Sign up for the virtual race and run your own 5K or 10K course—anywhere, anytime.
• Receive Gear: As a virtual participant, you’ll receive a race bib, a shirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement.
• Group Runs: Want to run with friends? Organize a group virtual run, and we’ll promote it on our website so others can join you!

📅 Race Day Details

• Staggered Start: To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, the start line will remain open for 15 minutes, allowing for a staggered start and plenty of space.

• Supports CDH Awareness: Proceeds from this event benefit the Ladybug CDH Foundation, whose mission is to raise public awareness about Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH), a potentially life-threatening birth defect affecting 1 in 2,500 children annually.
• Funding Research: Fund critical medical research.
• Direct Support: Provide direct support to families in the Pacific Northwest facing the challenges of CDH.
