Boring Marathon, Half-Boring Half Marathon, Constantly Boring 10K, and Somewhat Boring 5K Race Series

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Date: September 14, 2025
• Location: Boring Station Trailhead Park, Boring, OR
• Parking: Available at Boring Middle School, Naas Elementary School, Boring-Damascus Grange, and nearby neighborhoods.
• Respect: Please do not block driveways and use SE Wally Rd and SE School Ave for parking after 6:15 am.

🏅 Race Details

• Courses: All races are on the Springwater Trail: the marathon consists of two loops of the half marathon course.
• Certification: Both the Half Marathon and Marathon courses are certified.
• Qualifying: The Marathon Course is a Boston Qualifier!
• Virtual Option: Available for those unable to attend in person.

📏 Boring Marathon Course

• Format: Runs the half marathon course twice.
• Flatter Course: The new course provides a much flatter experience than previous years.
• Split Time: Participants will receive a half marathon split time.
• Certification: USATF Certified Certificate # OR24005JH.

🏃‍♀️ Half Boring Half Marathon

• Route: An out-and-back course on the Springwater Trail.
• Certification: USATF certified Half Marathon course Certificate # OR24004JH.
• Virtual Option: For participants unable to travel to Boring.
• Starting Point: Begins at Boring Station Trailhead Park.

👟 Constantly Boring 10K

• Course Type: A short 5K out-and-back course.
• Location: Starts at the same location as other races.
• Proximity: The course is located near the City of Gresham boundary, but remains within Boring.
• Virtual Option: Available for those not traveling to Boring.

🏁 Somewhat Boring 5K

• Course Type: A short out-and-back course.
• Location: Begins at Boring Station Trailhead Park.
• Nearby: The course remains firmly within the Boring area.
• Virtual Option: Also provided for participants unable to attend.

🔢 Race Limits & Registration

• Entry Limits: Marathon - 100, Half Marathon - 200, 10K - 100, 5K - 100, Virtual - Unlimited.
• Packet Pickup: Available on September 12 at Boring Brewing Co. and September 13-14 at Boring Station Trailhead Park.
• Time Limit: Aid stations will close after 7 hours, but the finish line will remain open.
• Early Starts: Arrangements can be made for those expecting to take longer than 6 hours.

🏆 Awards & Registration Details

• Shirt Guarantee: Entries before August 22nd, 2025, will receive a shirt in the first size choice.
• Medals: All participants, including virtual runners, will receive a medal.
• Refund Policy: No refunds after registration: deferrals are rare.
• Registration: No day-of-race registration.

🌍 Special Offer

• Residents of Dull, Scotland: Free registration offered (travel costs not included).
• Changing Races: Contact the race director by August 30th for race transfers.
