Race Overview

This is a 5k fundraising race to help support Pink Sistas-a local organization dedicated to helping women find connections with other women as well as themselves again after a breast cancer diagnosis.

Purpose of the Race

Women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer often times feel vulnerable. Although many women have the support of loved ones, many women go through the journey alone. No matter what support they have, it's a lonely journey that only those who have walked the same path can understand.

About Pink Sistas

Pink Sistas offers that connection through:

• No-cost day trips: Women have the opportunity to share their story, have lunch on our 22-foot pink drifter party barge, kayak, paddle board, and network with other like-minded women who are also breast cancer survivors and warriors.
• No-cost 3-day retreats: Women share their story, relax, exercise together, enjoy meals together, do crafts, and create connections and get the love and support they need in a time when they need it most.
