⏰ Start Time

• When: 9 am on Thanksgiving Morning.

🏁 Open Start Line

• Flexible Timing: Start the 5K run/walk anytime between 9:00 and 9:10 am.
• Line Up: Faster runners line up in the front.
• No Rush: You do not have to feel rushed to get to the starting line.
• Timing: Your timing starts when you cross the timing mats!

🚗 Parking Information

• Location: Lansing Community College parking ramp will be open for parking.
• Free Parking: Ample free parking available.
• Easy Exit: You can exit the ramp before the last runner finishes.
• Guidance: Volunteers will assist in parking.

💵 Entry Fee

• Regular Fee: $30 until November 19th: shirt guaranteed.
• Late Registration: $35 from November 20th to November 26th: shirts available while supplies last.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Discount

• Group Savings: Register 3 or more people simultaneously and save $3/person (10% discount).
• Deadline: Valid only until November 19th.
• In-Person Only: Discount is valid only for the in-person 5k run/walk event.

📝 Pre-Registration

• Important: Be sure to preregister: no race day registration will be available.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Location: Playmakers on Tuesday 11/25 and Wednesday 11/26 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
• Pick Up for Others: You can pick up packets for family and friends.
• Avoid Lines: Picking up at Playmakers is encouraged to avoid long lines on race day.
• Race Day Pickup: Begins at 7:30 am at Lansing Community College in the Gannon building, first floor.

⏱️ Results

• Notification: Your accurate chip time and placement will be texted to your phone.
• Live Results: Results will also be available live on the race website.

🏅 Awards

• Age Group Awards: Medals for the top 3 in various age categories.
• Overall Awards: Medal and $50 Playmakers gift certificate for overall, master, and grand master categories.
• Awards Location: Available race day at the awards table starting at 9:45 am near the Finish.

💖 Proceeds

• Support: Proceeds support High School and Middle School Cross Country and Track programs.
• Grant Program: Funds youth running clubs through the Michigan Running Foundation grant program.

🏃 Virtual Option

• Participation: Sign up for the virtual race if you can't make it in person.
• Dates: Run your virtual race anytime from November 22 to November 30.
• Cost: $35 includes shipping of shirt and bib.
• No Awards: There are no awards for the virtual event: registration closes on November 19th.

🚫 Attendance Policy

• No-Show Policy: No-shows will forfeit their t-shirt, no exceptions.
