2026 Southwest Youth Mile Race Series

Race Overview

The Southwest Youth Mile Race Series consists of three separate one mile cross country races open to all boys and girls of elementary school age. Races will be professionally chipped and timed by Ruble Timing. There will be individual awards AND team awards based on overall scoring by grade and gender.

Indian Trails Park, in the field at the very back of the park

Race Dates

• First Race: August 26
• Second Race: September 9
• Third Race: September 23

Race Schedule

• 4:30-5:15 pm: Race bib pickup
• 5:30 pm: 3rd grade (and younger) race
• 5:45 pm: 4th grade race
• 6:00 pm: 5th grade race
• 6:30 pm: Awards

Awards for 2026

• Individual Awards: 1st place trophy
• Medals: 2nd-10th place medals
• Ribbons: 11th-25th place ribbons
• Team Awards: 1st place Team Plaque for each division

• Registration: There will be NO race day registration.
• Deadline: Registration will close 24 hours prior to each race.
• Participant Info: Please only enter your child/racer's name and other info for the participant, versus parent info!
