20th Annual Run for Riley 5 Mile & 5K

Event Overview

Join the Fort Wayne Running Club as we continue the tradition of supporting Riley Children's Hospital with the 20th Annual Run for Riley. Participants may choose between the 5 mile chip timed race or the 5K event.

Race Details

• Date: 2026-10-04
• Location: 425 Union Chapel Rd, Fort Wayne, IN
• Start Point: Both events begin at Maple Creek Middle School
• Course: The course splits with 5 mile participants going one way and 5K participants going the other way. All participants end on the school track.

Packet Pickup

• Pre-Race Pickup: Saturday 10/3 from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm at the Fleet Feet North Store on Dupont Road.
• Race Day Pickup: Begins at 11:00 am and runs until 1:30 pm in the school cafeteria.
• Silent Auction: Plan to come early and participate in our silent auction. All proceeds go directly to the Riley foundation.
• Auction Ends: The auction will end at the beginning of the race so that when runners/walkers finish, they can check if they won their items.

Awards and Celebration

After the event, join us in the school cafeteria for the 5 mile race awards and as always, the wonderful treats and snacks Run for Riley has become known for. Make sure you stay for the announcement of our donation total to Riley Hospital!
