Race Overview
- Tradition: The Rain Day 5K has been a Waynesburg tradition for over 45 years.
- Resumption: There was a short hiatus from 2022 through 2025 with a change in organization.
- Festival Integration: The race is once again part of the Waynesburg Rain Day Festival held every July 25th.
- Support: Proceeds from the 5K will support the Cross Country teams in Greene County.

- 8:30 AM: Check In and Race-Day registration.
- 9:00 AM: 1 Mile Kids Race (12 & Under).
- 9:30 AM: 5K Run & 5K Walk.
Course Description
- Course Type: Both the 1 Mile Kids Race and the 5K are an easy to follow Out & Back course on N. Porter St.
Awards
- 5K Run & Walk: Overall - Top 3, Male & Female.
- Age Groups: Top 3, Male & Female (1-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+).
- 1 Mile Kids Race: TBD.
