Van Buren Popcorn Festival Kernel 5K
Originating in 1987, the objective was to encourage participation in a healthy activity while promoting the Van Buren Popcorn Festival. The Kernel 5K has experienced increased attendance since the first event. The Van Buren Popcorn Festival Committee who volunteer to conduct the event appreciate your involvement and look forward to seeing you again this year!
Location
- Starting Line: Indiana State Road 5 in front of the Van Buren Library.
The Course
- Course Features: Well marked with flat and paved surfaces.
- Safety Measures: Traffic control and water stations provided.
- Finish Line: Located in front of the Popcorn Festival Grandstand.
- Post-Race Amenities: Fruit and drinks available to all participants.
