About this race
Join us for the Faculty of Health Fun Run!
As one of the longest-standing traditions at the University of Waterloo, participants have the option of completing a 2.5 km or 5 km run, jog, walk or however you chose to move!

- Date: Saturday September 19, 2026
- 8:00 a.m. Check-in Opens
- 9:30 a.m. Race Start Time
- 10:30 a.m. Awards, Prizes and After Party
About the Event
- Location: 200 University Ave W, Waterloo, ON
- Accessibility: Open to faculty, staff, alumni, students, families with strollers and community members of all ages
- Encouragement: Participants are encouraged to have fun - join a team, wear costumes, etc. for a chance to win prizes.
- Timing: The event will include chip timing and results will be posted online.

- Initiative: This year’s event will help support the University’s ambitious Healthy Waterloo initiative.
- Focus: Creating, testing and implementing preventative health solutions.
